About me

Dwight Lin, MD is a Harvard-trained physician specializing in regenerative medicine, orthobiologics, and the non-surgical treatment of knee and spine conditions. With more than two decades of experience in interventional spine and musculoskeletal medicine and over 15 years focused on platelet-rich plasma (PRP) and bone marrow–based orthobiologic treatments, Dr. Lin helps active adults explore evidence-guided options to preserve function and avoid unnecessary surgery.

Based in Honolulu, Hawai‘i, Dr. Lin cares for patients with knee arthritis, meniscus injuries, back pain, sciatica, spinal stenosis and other musculoskeletal conditions. His approach extends beyond treating the location of pain. He integrates advanced diagnostic imaging, image-guided procedures, orthobiologics, biomechanics, rehabilitation, and recovery planning to understand why a patient is hurting and create better conditions for long-term recovery.

Dr. Lin graduated from Cornell University and Hahnemann University School of Medicine and completed his residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation through Harvard Medical School, followed by additional fellowship training in interventional spine and sports medicine. His background in both conventional interventional medicine and regenerative treatment gives him a distinctive perspective on when procedures may help—and when they may not.

His philosophy is simple: preserve anatomy, restore function, and help patients make informed decisions before choosing irreversible treatments. For people who want to keep surfing, skiing, golfing, playing tennis, traveling, working, or simply staying active with their families, Dr. Lin's goal extends beyond reducing pain: helping patients protect their ability to keep doing what matters.
