I am an internist and obesity medicine specialist, and I am board certified in Internal Medicine and Obesity Medicine and as a Physician Nutrition Specialist. I am also fellow of the American College of Physicians.
I will be opening my 100% virtual, telehealth private practice in 2027, serving with adult patients in California. My areas of clinical focus include:
Weight Management & Metabolic Health: Tailored support for sustainable weight loss, insulin resistance, prediabetes, type 2 diabetes, high cholesterol, high blood pressure, metabolic syndrome, and fatty liver disease (MASLD).
Menopause and Perimenopause: Personalized support for managing symptoms related to menopause and perimenopause as well as optimizing health for the long-term.
My approach to long-term health involves nutrition and lifestyle change as the foundation blended with evidence-based medical therapies, such as medications, in appropriate patients. I work closely with my patients to address their unique challenges, so they can reach their best health.
Professional Background
I received my medical degree from UC Irvine School of Medicine in 2015 where I graduated as class valedictorian and was awarded Junior AOA and Gold Humanism Honors. I completed my Internal Medicine residency training at UCLA in 2018. Afterwards, I did a one-year fellowship program in Clinical Nutrition at UCLA. I previously worked at UCLA as an Assistant Clinical Professor and practiced medicine in the division of Clinical Nutrition, the Center of Obesity and Metabolic Health (COMET), and the UCLA Medical Weight Management Program (formerly RFO). In 2022, I joined Form Health, a national leader in science-based obesity care. In addition to my role as an Obesity Medicine Physician, I later on became a Clinical Lead Physician and then a Regional Medical Director.
