Stephanie Schnepp, MD, FACS, DipABLM is a Breast Surgeon and Breast Specialist, Board Certified in General Surgery and Lifestyle Medicine
Offering a personalized patient experience for breast care.
How can I help you or your patients?
- evaluate any new breast symptoms such as masses, skin changes, discharge, swelling, or focal pain
- explain any abnormal breast imaging studies and the reasoning for the next steps
- work with patients to order and schedule imaging studies if not yet completed
- clearly explain biopsy results for any benign or malignant breast diagnoses and discuss options for treatment
- offer the most updated and minimally invasive options and Hidden Scar Surgery options when appropriate
High Risk Screening and Management
- guide patients with dense breast tissue on mammogram, family history, or other risk factors, toward the most appropriate screening plan based on thorough personalized breast cancer risk assessment and continue ongoing high risk follow up and risk reduction strategies.
Lifestyle Medicine Focus
With my additional Board Certification in Lifestyle Medicine, I coach patients on incorporating Lifestyle Medicine principles into their plan for cancer care and cancer risk reduction. I focus on interactive discussions about all pillars of Lifestyle Medicine - Nutrition, Physical Activity, Restorative Sleep, Stress Management, Avoidance of Risky Substances, and Social Connection.
Survivorship and Thrivership
I have a particular interest in Survivorship and Thrivership and want to help coach patients on thriving in all aspects of their lives and their health well beyond diagnosis and treatment.
Emphasis on Time with Patients and Access to Timely Care
Length of new patient visits 60-90 minutes, follow up visits 30 minutes, allowing ample time for all concerns and questions to be heard and addressed in the context of what matters most to the patient.
Availability for appointments within days, not weeks, resulting in less sleepless nights of waiting and wondering.
Trusted Experience and Up-to-date Treatment
Over 18 years of experience in the surgical and medical management of breast health treating the spectrum of benign and malignant breast concerns.
